The fact that One Piece Chapter 1071 covers so many different episodes makes it a great chapter. In addition to describing the events that took place on Egghead Island in this chapter, Oda also focuses on other significant individuals. Fans observe Gap close to the G-14 naval installation at the chapter's conclusion. He arrived on the island in search of support as he prepared to take on Blackbeard and save Kobe. The Eustass Kid's whereabouts are the subject of another significant One Piece 1071 revelation. Finally, Kidd and his group were located close to Elbaf, the Land of Giants. It was unexpected to see Kidd arrive first because it has long been rumored that the Straw Hats will visit El Baf at some point.
Why is the child in Albaf?
At the end of the Wano Country arc, the Kid is seen discussing their next move with his right-hand man, the Killer. During the conversation, they brought up an interesting message. They talked of finding "the man with the mark of fire." The identity of this person could not be found out at that time, but Egghead Island Arc proposed a name that made sense.
When Vegapunk talks to the Straw Hat Pirates, he tells them about the tragedy of Ohara and its aftermath. He told them of seeing several giants trying to salvage the scholar's books. It was later confirmed that Jaguar D. Saul, who was previously presumed dead, was behind the operation. Thor is frozen by Aoki, but it seems that as the flames begin to engulf the island, he is also thawed. Vegapunk reveals that Saul is covered in bandages, implying that he was burned by fire. So, Saul is likely to be "the one marked by the flames", and given that Kidd is looking for him, obviously he has to go to Elbaf. Whether the Kid discovered his location, or he just decided to go to Elbaf on a whim, remains to be seen. Either way, getting to Elbaf first would give Kidd a huge advantage and basically put him in a good position to achieve his goal of getting One Piece.
History of El Baf
El Baf is one of the oldest kingdoms in the world. It is the home of giants. The island is not part of the world government, which is intriguing. Unlike Wano, Elbaf doesn't seem to be closing its borders, nor is there any tension between the giants and the World Government. So why isn't Elbaf allied with the World Government? The main reason may be the longevity of the giants. Giants are known to live for hundreds of years. The oldest known giant is Jarul, who is 408 years old. Because of their age, they have witnessed different eras firsthand. So, they should know all the events that happened in the past, including the Void Age.
Naturally, it would be absurd if all Giants were aware of it, but it's likely that the more experienced ones are. The protograph of the final journey may also be known to the giants, and even better, it might be in Elbaf together with knowledge of the Void Age. The final road text was discovered by Roger, but strangely vanished after that. A single individual just cannot move the text because of its immensity, but several giants working together could move the text. The Kid will possess three Poneglyphs and learn more from Saul if that turns out to be the case.
When will the Straw Hats arrive?
Currently, the Straw Hats are on Egghead Island, trying to get rid of CP0 and the Marines. According to Dole, Marines from G-14 will also go to Egghead to provide additional support to CP0. This makes the situation even more dire, as the Straw Hat Pirates are outnumbered and the last thing they want is more Marines to help CP0. Obviously, the Straw Hats should focus on getting back to the Thousand Suns, since that's the only way they can get off the island.
Unfortunately, CP0 members have infiltrated Frontier Dome. They were able to gain access only after the security system mysteriously shut down. It seems someone is working with the world government. Considering the individuals introduced so far in the arc, one of Vegapunk's moons might betray them in exchange for safety. So the Straw Hats must fend off CP0, the Marines, and would-be traitors.
Despite the odds, Vegapunk seems to have an ally in Egghead that could help them escape. The identity of this person has always been a secret, but judging from their tone, it seems that they are very grateful to Vegapunk and want to help him. Depending on who this person is, the Straw Hats may or may not be able to avoid the fire. If this person had great strength, they may easily aid the Straw Hats in leaving the island. The most well-known name now being bandied about is Scopper Gaban. There isn't enough proof to prove that he was a former member of the Roger Pirates. The Straw Hats are likely to travel to Elbaf after leaving Egghead. Since Usopp and Robin of the Straw Hat Crew are well familiar with Elbaf, it seems sense for the group to go there right away.
