Phoenixville Go Club

The Phoenixville Go Club meets regularly at Artisans Cafe and will have a table at the market on first Saturdays this summer.  They invite you to stop by the market or Artisans to learn the ancient game of GoGo is the oldest board game in history that is still played today, and it is currently the second most popular board game on the planet.  The rules to Go are very simple (The game is playable for ages 4 and up!), but situations that can occur during the game can be very complicated.  Participants use strategy, tactics, instinct and savvy to try to surround more territory on the board than their opponent.  Come stop by to learn the rules, strengthen your play, and have limitless amounts of fun!
Our table will be tended by Craig Brown from the Phoenixville Go Club.  Craig is an enthusiastic instructor who has been playing and teaching Go for more than six years.   He has taught classes at the Upattinas School and Resource Center, at the Guang Hua Chinese School, and is currently teaching two groups at the St. Gabriel’s System in Audobon.
