Although every week is a BUY FRESH BUY LOCAL week at the market, this week we will celebrate with a festival!!  Locally renown band Hoots & Hellmouth will provide foot stomping, down home music, and we will have LOTS of FRESH LOCAL FOOD!!  Fruits are coming in and so are summer vegetables!!
Many long time market shoppers will be pleased to hear that local chef Julie Zlogar will join the market again this year with “Greens and Grains.”

It’s also Second Saturday which means we’ll have local artists at the market too. Visit our website to read about this week’s artists: Victoria O’Neill, Cara Graver, Sandy Malamed, and Reis Renditions.

We encourage you to BYOB – bring your own bag — and if you do, you can enter a raffle to win Market Dollars that you can spend with any vendor. Starting this Saturday, each week that you BYOB to the market, stop by the market table and fill out a raffle. Each week we will draw a winner and hand over the market money!

Finally, please remember not to park in the Family Dollar parking lot — they’ve had police officers there ticketing market shoppers lately. There is plenty of free parking available in the Justice Center lot, just across the alley from the Family Dollar lot.  We realize that some shoppers may have conditions that make it hard for them to walk  from the Justice Center lot, so we have designated 2 disabled spots close to the market.
