Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend is shaping up to be beautiful! We hope to see you at the market where you can buy fresh, local food to serve or bring to your holiday parties and bbq’s.

Denise from Ocean Earth Wind Fire will be back this week from 9:30am until 11am to lead a yoga class for kids and adults. It was super cute to see all the kids doing their yoga poses on our opening day, and we’re very happy to make this a regular part of the market. The yoga will happen by the market tent.

For our kids activity this week we’ll make seed tape that children can plant at home or in our children’s garden. This week we will plant seeds for plants that attract birds and butterflies.

Music this week is by Chris Adams — who brings his own solar panel to power his amp. Speaking of alternative energy sources, check out this Clio Award winning commercial. (For those of you who also get the Colonial Theatre email, you may have already watched this yesterday). It’s simple and effective — the best kind of ad.

Finally, we’re happy to welcome Stargazers Vineyard back this Saturday. They’ll be bringing their entire selection of wines and tasting our Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and for the first time the new releases of Dornfelder Summer Red and Solar Celebration (un-oaked version of Chardonnay).
